Art Deco Style Houses - Belmont Freeman Brings Art Deco Style to Residential New York

Friday, May 28, 2010

This 3,600-sq.-ft. Art Deco style bay house design in Atlantic Beach, New York is an artistic structure of stone, stucco, steel and glass. Designed by Belmont Freeman Architects, the luxury home features a relatively closed facade which provides plenty of privacy from the street, and offers much by way of visual interest with a collection of frosted and transparent windows punctuating an otherwise minimalist exterior. Despite its closed character, the house offers access to the outdoors via a main-floor living area, enclosed in glass walls which open to an adjacent garden. Inside, a modern decor is illuminated by abundant windows. An industrial-chic staircase leads upstairs and out to a rooftop patio with panoramic views of the bay. Belmont Freeman Architects
